1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Live Ride, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with FloHub and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are using the App on behalf of a minor, you are responsible for their compliance with these Terms.

2. The App

Live Ride is a native SwiftUI cycling computer for iPhone. It records your rides using your device's location services, helps you plan routes, and displays a customisable, real-time dashboard of ride metrics such as speed, distance, time, elevation and grade. Live Ride requires iOS 17.0 or later and is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store.

3. No account required

Live Ride does not require you to register, sign up, or create an account, and we do not maintain user profiles. All ride data, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. Because there is no account, we have no ability to identify you, reset a password, or recover data on your behalf — if you delete the App or lose your device, your locally stored ride data is not recoverable by us, because we never had it.

4. License to use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, FloHub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Live Ride on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the App Store's usage rules.

5. Purchases — no subscriptions

Live Ride is free to download. The App includes a usage allowance of the first 10 saved rides at no cost. Beyond that allowance, starting an additional ride may require unlocking Live Ride Pro — a single, optional, non-consumable, one-time purchase made through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit).

• Live Ride Pro is not a subscription. It does not renew, does not recur, and is billed exactly once.
• All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. FloHub does not receive or store your payment card details.
• Pricing is set and displayed by the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region and over time.
• Your Live Ride Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices signed into the same Apple ID using the "Restore Purchase" option in Settings, subject to Apple's rules.
• Rides you have already recorded, and your full ride history, remain accessible whether or not you purchase Live Ride Pro. The purchase only affects your ability to start additional new rides beyond the free allowance.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy, not by FloHub directly. See Apple's Request a refund support page.

6. Location accuracy & riding safety

Live Ride uses your device's GPS and other location services to estimate speed, distance, elevation, grade and route. Like any GPS-based tool, this data is an estimate and may be affected by satellite coverage, weather, terrain, tunnels, urban canyons, and device hardware limitations. Live Ride is not a substitute for careful observation of your surroundings, traffic laws, road signage, or your own judgment.

7. Health & fitness disclaimer

Metrics shown by Live Ride — including calories, heart rate, and elevation gain — are estimates for general fitness tracking purposes only and are not medical advice or a medical device. Consult a physician before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you have a pre-existing health condition. If you enable the optional Apple Health integration, heart-rate and workout data are read from or written to Apple Health strictly as governed by Apple's HealthKit framework and your permissions, which you can revoke at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Your ride data and exports

You retain all rights to the ride data you generate using Live Ride. Because Live Ride does not operate a server or cloud account, FloHub does not hold copies of your rides. Features such as GPX export, GPX import, full backup/restore, and share-image generation act only when you explicitly initiate them, using Apple's standard file and share-sheet mechanisms. Once you export or share a file (for example, by email, messaging app, or cloud storage of your choosing), its handling is governed by the terms of whatever service or recipient you shared it with — not by FloHub. You are solely responsible for keeping your own backup files safe; FloHub cannot recover a backup you've lost.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law; (b) copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the App; (c) use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the App; or (d) attempt to circumvent the purchase mechanism described in Section 5.

10. Third-party services

Live Ride uses Apple frameworks — including MapKit for maps and route planning, Core Location for GPS, HealthKit for optional Health integration, StoreKit for purchases, and, where available, Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework for the optional AI route-naming assistant (processed entirely on your device). Your use of these underlying services is also subject to Apple's own terms and privacy policy, over which FloHub has no control.

Live Ride also queries Open-Meteo, a free third-party weather API, to display current conditions on the weather dashboard tile, sending only your device's approximate coordinates. Use of this service is subject to Open-Meteo's own terms, over which FloHub has no control. If this service becomes unavailable or changes its terms, the weather tile may stop working without affecting any other part of the App.

11. Intellectual property

Live Ride, including its name, logo, design, and underlying code, is the property of FloHub and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you beyond the limited license in Section 4.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of data. FloHub does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that location, speed, elevation or other measurements will be perfectly accurate.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FloHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any injury, accident, or loss occurring during a ride. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including certain statutory consumer protections.

14. Termination

You may stop using Live Ride at any time by deleting the App from your device, which also deletes your locally stored ride data. FloHub may suspend or discontinue the App, or any of its features, at any time, though we will make reasonable efforts to preserve your ability to access and export ride data you have already recorded before doing so.

15. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update Live Ride and these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes to our purchase model. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law & your rights

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and do not limit any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country or state of residence. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
